Ramallah, PIPA, in light of the remarkable development and progress of the offsite and onsite infrastructure at Jenin Free Industrial Zone despite of all challenges faced the project due the Covid-19 pandemic; H.E. OSAILY received the developer of JIFZ and receives their confirmation of financial and technical commitments, and discussed the contracting procedures in light of the efforts made by PIPA to complete the onsite and offsite works, and PIPA hosted an evening meeting to have the developer and the donor presented by KFW to assure all commitments and stakeholder and a detailed presentation delivered to share the progress of onsite and offsite infrastructure and plans to handover the project and proposed dates for handover, and it’s worth to mention that JIFZ will be the first in the region and in Palestine on a land of 100 Hectare and it’s expected to generate more than 50 thousands of direct and indirect Jobs once fully operated. This progress comes based on the efforts made by the PIPA BoD Chairman personally during his visits to Turkey and close cooperation with Ministry of Finance and governor of Jenin and the Civil Affairs AuthorityPalestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates and the Embassy of the State of Palestine led by Ambassador Fayed Mustafa and the directives of the Prime Minister Dr. ISHTAIEH and direct instructions of H.E President Mahmoud Abbas personally.
H.E. Khaled OSAILY receives Jenin Free Industry Zone Turkish developer
